New night shifts for tourist visits to the Maras Salt Flats

In September, the salt mines of Maras, located in the province of Urubamba (Cusco), will welcome tourists at night.

For this innovative project, which will be inaugurated on the 27th of the following month, on the occasion of World Tourism Day, adequate safety measures have been taken, both in the access roads, from a branch of the paved road, and in the roads leading to the natural attraction.

Special attention has also been paid to the lighting, with reflectors that have been orchestrated to offer a beautiful view with the brightness of the salt, which will give us an incomparable visual spectacle. "At night, it will be very impressive to take some pictures", assert the authorities.

This project, which aims to improve the tourist service, has been developed in coordination with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture.
