This full-day itinerary will introduce you to the history of Lima and its colonial heritage, still present in the Historical Center. You will also have the opportunity to savor the delicious dishes that have earned the city the title of 'the best gastronomic capital of South America.'
LIMA CITY TOUR & PERUVIAN CEVICHE DEMO EXPERIENCE
Today, you will be picked up from the airport by our representative.
You’ll have the opportunity to see Lima's main highlights, starting at the Historic Center with a visit to the San Francisco Monastery and its catacombs. Admire the colonial architecture that has stood the test of time at the center's Plaza de Armas and the surrounding buildings. The tour then proceeds to the Casa Aliaga, the oldest continuously occupied family home in the Western Hemisphere.
We will depart the Historic center of Lima in the direction of the Larco Museum, one of the best archaeological museums in Peru. After our enriching day of adventure, it’s time to learn how to prepare two of the country’s most famous dishes and drinks: ceviche and pisco sour. This activity will take place at the Museo Larco restaurant.
We will finish this experience by enjoying a delicious lunch or dinner (depending on your arrival time) featuring the most emblematic dishes of Peruvian cuisine.
After this full day of experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel at the airport to wait for your flight to your next destination.
