World Travel Awards Honor Peru’s Culture & Cuisine

The ancestral, cultural, gastronomic and incredible tourist attractions of Peru have just been recognized in the World Travel Awards 2024. Three categories are a testament to the richness and diversity of this country:

These awards highlight the experiences that can be obtained in Peru, from culinary adventures, with ancient recipes, fusion, techniques and knowledge; the impressive culture that surrounds each of the regions throughout the territory, highlighting the dances, festivities and customs; and our modern wonder of the world that continues to surprise travelers from around the world with its mysteries and heritage.

This is the twelfth year that Peru has managed to consolidate its position as the best culinary destination in the world; and for the fifth consecutive year, Machu Picchu is positioned as the most important tourist attraction in the world.
