Huaraz is one of Tripadvisor’s top trendiest destinations of 2024

In the latest edition of Tripadvisor's Travelers Choice Awards, the city of Huaraz managed to position itself among the top 20 most outstanding tourist destinations to visit in 2024. In this ranking, based on the reviews and experiences of users of the platform, Huaraz is popular with hikers and nature lovers, beating cities in Africa and South America.

Huaraz is a great destination for travelers looking to combine cultural education, adventure and relaxation amidst its beautiful landscapes. Explore archaeological sites and ancient stone monoliths at the Museo Regional de Ancash, or for a challenge with a beautiful payoff, hike a mountain trail in Huascarán National Park.

Adding to the good news, Huaraz Airport (Comandante FAP Germán Arias Graziani Airport) will begin receiving commercial flights on July 1st, after regular maintenance. Tickets are now available and the flight time from Lima is approximately one hour, making this destination even more accessible for travelers!
